San Marcos, CA February 26, 2007 — Judd Wire, a manufacturer of coaxial cable for the telecommunications, mil/aero and test instrumentation markets, announced the introduction of their new Judd Plus™ line of Coaxial Cable.February 26, 2007
This cable incorporates the low loss/low cost properties of gas foamed polyethylene dielectric construction. However, unlike other manufacturer’s coax cables, Judd coax is irradiation cross-linked using a proprietary process. This process allows Judd’s polyethylene dielectric to withstand 105C operating temperature. This high temperature construction also allows the option to use lower cost solder-on connectors as opposed to crimp-on connectors.
Judd Plus coaxial cable is available in both High performance, as well as Ultra performance constructions. Both styles offer dramatic performance improvements over competitor’s designs.
Judd Plus coax is designed to terminate with conventional connector sizes. Judd Plus coax is available in sizes 100, 195, 200, 240, 400, and 600.
