Dear Customer:Please be advised that the European Court of Justice has annulled the deca-bromodiphenylether (deca-BDE) exemption to the European Union RoHS Directive.
Judd Wire Inc. continues to manufacture electronic products in compliance with the recent changes in the RoHS directive.*
Electronic products including UL Hookup wire, UL high voltage wire and OEM constructions-
1429, 1430, 1431, 1472, 1534, 3317 (80C to 105C XLPVC)
· All products manufactured after June 1, 2005 are RoHS compliant.
3265, 3266, 3271, 3272 (125C XLPE) 3476 (105C XLPVC)
· All products manufactured after February 1, 2006 are RoHS
compliant.
· All products manufactured after July 1, 2006 are RoHS compliant.
3398, 3289 (150C XLPE)
· All products manufactured before June 30 2008 are RoHS
compliant.
· Judd Wire's 150C rated UL products (UL 3398 and 3289) currently
contain a deca-bromodiphenylether flame retardant. All products
manufactured after June 30, 2008 are non-compliant. Conversion
of these products to a DBDPO free product is pending.
